• THE BIG BASH : HFA'S 5TH ANNIVERSARY SHOWCASE - FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 19TH, SOHO, LONDON.

The Soho Hotel, Dean Street, London - arguably "the coolest hotel in London" - is the scene of a drinks and nibbles reception in the Swirl Room, followed by a showing in a cinema of films from Hurtwood Film Academy's first five years. 100 specially invited guests will attend.

PRODUCTION SLATE 2008 / 09

Projects galore are developing with this year's HFA, including two already in production:

• SUMMER IN A BOTTLE

A film shooting in Bergerac, France, telling the story of a remarkable English woman who has become a vine grower and wine producer accepted even in France as at the top of her profession.

• FROZEN IN SEPIA

The story of a top British photographer, who took stills of all the famous celebrities of his day, as well as exploring photo-journalism at the highest level.

• A FILM ABOUT OPERA / THREE FICTION FILMS / A FILM ABOUT JUGGLERS AND SUCH
